My name is Robert Gomez I've attended Lindsay High school all 4 years of my high school experience. Being here at LHS has been so great making new friends as the years move on and losing friends as the years pass. They say once you hit high school you see who your real friends are and I have say the friends I had in elementary aren’t my close friends I have now and I’m fine with that. The friends I have now are like brothers and sisters to me. We all have been through a lot together and we’ve always been there for each other. I would have to say my best times here at LHS would have to be playing at the varsity level of baseball since my freshman year. As a freshman you always thing that your first year you’ll be playing for frosh or JV, but for me that wasn’t the case my first day out at practice I busted my butt and did my very best to show I could play at the varsity level. With all that hard work I made the varsity and was the only freshman to be on varsity wasn’t easy but it made me the player I am today. Being on varsity has been great yeah it was a lot always getting yelled at by the coaches because no one likes the freshman and everyone picks on them but I didn’t let it bother me. Like my coach always taught me when I was don’t listen to the tone in the voice listen to the message. I’m not all only about baseball I also love spending time with my family and my dog Sophie. I love going camping and cooking, I love cooking in the house I do all the cooking no one is allowed to be in the kitchen because I do the cooking my mom don’t cook because for one she can’t cook well kind of funny because I can cook really well and she tries to teach me but I’m the one that cooks better than her. I learned how to cook just by watching my grandma when I was younger I would never ask questions I would just sit there and watch her do her thing and when my mom was at work and it was me and my two brothers and my sister, we were all hungry so I would go to the kitchen find something and just started cooking and from that day on cooking has always been such a great thing to do and I love it. I can’t wait to graduate and start culinary school.
